Uncertified Pre-1933 (Raw) U.S. Gold
Raw U.S. gold coins are coins minted to Constitutionally fixed Weights and Measures at U.S. Mints before our government dreamed up fiat money. These coins represent "honest" U.S. money as envisioned by our Founding Fathers. Congress was given the power to Coin money, regulate their value, and set standards in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 5 & 6 and specified in the provisions of the 1792 Coinage Act. All old U.S gold coins were minted prior to 1933 and are considered true numismatic collectible coins. This is the coin catagory that we suggest the second most.
